TRAVEL DESTINATIONS

Munnar

munnar Munnar - breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country.  Munnar hills are situated at an altitude of 5000 to 8000 Ft above sea level. This beautiful hill station was once the  summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling Tea plantations, picture book towns,  winding lanes, and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town.
Unending expanse of tea plantations - pristine valleys and mountains- exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild  sanctuaries and forests - aroma of spice scented cool air - yes! Munnar has all these and more. It's the place you  would love to visit - it's the place you would wish never to leave- so welcome - let's go to Munnar.

Thekkady

Thekkady is one of India's most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries where you can watch wildlife at close range. The vegetation, the flora and fauna and the birds of Thekkady are uniquely rich, vast and varied that it does not bear semblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Even a casual visitor to this place will not fail to observe the special ecological pattern of Thekkady.

Cochin

cochin Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west  coast of the Indian peninsula in the  breathtakingly scenic and prosperous  state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Its strategic importance over  the  centuries is underlined by the sobriquet Queen of the Arabian Sea. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the  Gateway to Kerala

From time immemorial, the Arabs, British, Chinese, Dutch, and Portuguese have left indelible marks on the history and  development of Cochin. Over the years, Cochin has emerged as the commercial and industrial capital of Kerala and is  perhaps the second most important city on the west coast of India (after Mumbai/Bombay). Cochin is proud of its world  class port and international airport that link it to many major cities worldwide
This lovely seaside city is flanked by the Western Ghats on the east and the Arabian Sea on the west. Its proximity

to the equator, the sea and the mountains provide a rich experience of a moderate equatorial climate.

Alappuzha

Washed by the silvery waves of the Arabian Sea, Alappuzha, the Venice of the East welcomes you to the backwaters of kerala. The Palm fringed canals and shores bustling with glimpses from the day to day life in the country side, the mirror still lagoons, picture book lakesides and its long sandy beach has blessed Alappuzha, the water locked district, to become one of the best Backwater tourism destinations in God's Own Country.
The large network of canals provides Alleppuzha its lifeline. Water carnivals using gigantic snake boats and country canoes of varying sizes have an important role in the community life of the people of this region. A cruise on an elegant houseboat offers a rare chance to view the attractive dense palm groves that are so characteristic of Kerala's landscape

Kumarakom

The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and this small water world is part of the Kuttanad region. The bird sanctuary here, which is spread across 14 acres, is a favorite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist's paradise. Egrets, darters, herons, teal, waterfowl, cuckoo, wild duck and migratory birds like the Siberian stork that live there in flocks are a fascination for visitors.  The best way to watch the birds of the Kumarakom sanctuary is a boat trip round the islands.
An enchanting backwater destination, Kumarakom offers visitors many other leisure options. Boating and fishing facilities are available at Kumarakom.   Holiday packages on the houseboats, traditional Kettuvalloms, are an out-of-this-world experience at Kumarakom.
